New Jersey manufacturers are greatly needed to take part in a brief Manufacturing Skills Initiative Survey, aimed at gathering information about your hiring needs, the timing of your hiring, and the skills and credentials that are required of new hires.
The survey results will be used to develop training programs that will better match qualified candidates with job opportunities.
This initiative is based on a strategic partnership between New Jersey’s Community Colleges, the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP), the New Jersey Business and Industry Association (NJBIA), and other education and workforce development partners that are connected to the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development Industry Partnerships. It establishes a comprehensively structured approach to manufacturing workforce development that responds to the complexities of New Jersey’s manufacturers and at the same time provides education, training, and career opportunities that benefit all state residents.
