Employers seeking their next great hire are invited to register to participate in the Career Resource & Job Fair, which will be held on Aug. 21 at William Paterson University.
The event is sponsored by the Passaic County One-Stop Career Center, William Paterson University, and the state Department of Labor & Workforce Development to provide corporations, government, and nonprofit agencies the ability to promote their career opportunities to hundreds of local jobseekers, students, and alumni seeking employment.
This is a free event for both recruiters and jobseekers.
Employers representing a wide variety of industries will be represented at the event including healthcare, security, retail, sales, financial services, transportation, material management, government, manufacturing, trade unions and life sciences.
Workshops for jobseekers will be available on résumé revamping, job hunting, acing interviews and using social media and LinkedIn effectively.
The job fair takes place between 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21 in the University Commons (ballrooms A, B and C) located at 300 Pompton Road in Wayne. Recruiter check-in and set up starts at 8 a.m.
Interested employers must register by Aug. 9 here. Registration includes: one table, two chairs and light refreshments for two recruiters. Complimentary parking is provided at the university at Entry 4, Lot 5. A campus map can be viewed here.
