NJBIA is hosting a free business-legislative networking event on Sept. 14 to give business owners the opportunity to discuss their challenges and concerns directly with their elected lawmakers who represent Legislative District 40 in Bergen, Essex, Morris and Passaic counties.

The event takes place from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Gary’s Wine and Marketplace in Wayne and will include state Senator Kristin Corrado and Assemblymen Christopher DePhillips, and Kevin Rooney, all of whom represent the 40th Legislative District.

Corrado is the Senate Republican Conference Leader and serves on the Economic Growth, Judiciary, and Transportation committees. DePhillips is the Assistant Republican Minority Leader in the Assembly and serves on both the Science Innovation & Technology Committee and the Transportation and Independent Authorities Committee. Rooney is Deputy Minority Conference Leader and serves on both the Appropriations and Consumer Affairs committees.

Business owners who would like to attend and discuss their concerns with the lawmakers, are asked to RSVP to NJBIA Vice President of Government Affairs Ray Cantor at RCantor@njbia.org.
