The Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce (GWACC) will honor its retiring CEO, Gene Jannotti, at its annual holiday party on Dec. 5 at The Westwood in Garwood.

Jannotti joined the GWACC in 2014 and has methodically grown chamber membership over the past decade to more than 500 businesses and nonprofit organizations. During his tenure, the chamber also created the nonprofit GWACC Foundation to provide scholarships to high school students in the five towns the chamber serves: Fanwood, Garwood, Mountainside, Scotch Plains and Westfield.

Tickets are now on sale until noon on Nov. 30 for the retirement and holiday celebration, which will take place from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 5 at The Westwood, 438 North Ave., Garwood.  The event is open to all and includes live music, a premium open bar, and a one-hour cocktail hour with passed hors d’oeuvres followed by chafing dishes, dessert and coffee.
