On this weekend’s “Minding Your Business” on News 12+, NJBIA President and CEO Michele Siekerka, New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Tom Bracken and Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey President and CEO Christina Renna join host Bob Considine to discuss Gov. Phil Murphy’s proposed $1 billion tax increase on New Jersey’s largest employers and the potential ramifications of it.
Following the discussion, the show provides coverage of a recent NJBIA press conference where Lori Roth, co-managing partner of the Prager Metis, talked about how the tax will be extremely problematic for large companies.
Also, Albert LiCata, the president of Bernards Township Regional Chamber of Commerce, discussed the local impact on municipalities when a major corporation leaves.
