Commercial Realtor Newmark Associates has expanded its sales team, adding Benjamin Koch and Marjorie Dorne Murphy to its team as sales associates.

Murphy, of Harding Township, brings a richly diverse career history with her, having worked as executive assistant to a former Secretary of the U.S. Treasury; personal lines appraiser for the Chubb Group; construction manager for a high-profile architectural firm in Morristown; and property manager for multiple luxury condominium buildings in Hoboken and Jersey City.

“Marjorie’s experience working for high-profile industry leaders in both executive assistant and management positions has cultivated in her a strong and sound work ethic, an instinctive ability to listen to customers and a relentless approach to problem-solving,” said Newmark Office Manager Anne Schwab. “She has proven her commitment to serving the public with meticulous follow-up in project management; and above all, a respect for people, their needs and their time.”

Murphy graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Koch, of Montville, attended the University of Delaware and began his career at Realty One Group as a residential Realtor, but his first commercial client turned him on to that side of the business. He will start in his hometown and surrounding Morris County market offering buyer/seller agency and tenant/landlord representation.

“Coupled with an excellent work ethic and enthusiasm, Ben’s ability to create and maintain attentive, detail-oriented communications with clients allows for building the types of relationships key to managing realty transactions,” Schwab said.
