Time is running out register for ‘MADE in NJ’ Manufacturing Day on Friday, the East Coast’s largest manufacturing networking event where industry professionals, legislators, students and exhibitors will gather to celebrate the innovative products and technologies powering the state’s economy.

The 11th Annual ‘MADE in NJ’ Manufacturing Day, organized by the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP), is also a celebration that aims to change the perception of domestic manufacturing, increase awareness of rewarding industry career opportunities, and allow participants to explore the advanced technologies and strategies that are driving manufacturing forward.

This year’s event takes place from 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. on Oct. 6 in the Event Center at iPlay America, 104 Schanck Road, Freehold. NJBIA is also a proud sponsor of MADE in New Jersey Manufacturing Day, which draws nearly a thousand participants for informative panel discussions, live robotics demonstrations and NJMEP’s Manufacturer of the Year Awards.

“Watching this event grow throughout my time as the board chair for NJMEP and seeing what that growth meant in terms of highlighting ‘MADE in New Jersey’ Manufacturing has been incredible,” said Peter Connolly, CEO NJMEP. “Now as CEO, I truly understand just how important a concentrated day to celebrate manufacturing really is to the industry and the state.

“If there’s one event a manufacturer needs to make it out to, it’s ‘MADE in NJ’ Manufacturing Day,” Connolly added.

Attendees will participate in industry-critical breakout sessions covering topics from Industry 4.0 to Cybersecurity, Supply Chain Resiliency, Women in Manufacturing, Cost Savings and Finance Strategies for Manufacturers, Production Best Practices, Workforce Solutions, Marketing Strategies, and more.

The event will also include the Manufacturer of the Year Awards, recognizing excellence in manufacturing across all sectors of the industry. Attendees will enjoy signature cocktails and take home fun and handy giveaways like the handy Pocket Monkey Multitool.
