Members of the community interested in learning more about career programs offered through Raritan Valley Community College’s Adult Learners College are invited to attend one of two special information sessions being held this month at the Branchburg campus.

RVCC will hold an Adult Learners College Business Degree Information Session on Tuesday, April 16, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., in the RVCC Atrium. An Adult Learners’ College Health Science Information Session is set for Wednesday, April 24, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., in the college’s Event Center.

During the April 16 session, faculty members from the Business and Public Service Department will be on hand to present information and answer questions about RVCC’s business degrees.  The April 24 session focusing on healthcare programs will offer attendees an opportunity to meet with faculty and staff from the college’s Health Science Education Department and representatives of non-credit allied health programs.

Both events will include information about applying to RVCC, support services designed for non-traditional students, and paying for college and financial aid options. To register to attend either information session, go to RVCC’s website here.

RVCC’s Adult Learners College is designed for adults 25 and older who are looking to complete their college degree, explore a new career path, gain additional training, get a promotion at work, be the first member of their family to attend college, or improve their English.

In addition, seven-week semesters will be offered for some programs, providing adult students with a more convenient academic schedule to help them balance work, school, and family obligations. Adult students may enroll in workforce, certificate, or degree programs at RVCC.

Some of the college’s programs that may be of interest to adult students include:
