NJBIA member Stateside Affairs will be honored with a prestigious Silver Stevie Award for Small Business in the Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations Company of the Year category when the 2023 International Business Awards are celebrated in Italy this fall.

The Manasquan-based government affairs and public relations company was the only New Jersey business honored by the IBA in this category. The IBA received over 3,700 nominations from organizations in 61 countries in this year’s competition. The winners were selected by 230 executives worldwide participating in 11 juries.

The 20th Annual International Business Awards Ceremony will take place on Oct. 13 in Rome.

Winning a Silver Stevie award also means Stateside Affairs is now a nominee in the voting round for the People’s Choice Stevie Awards for Favorite Companies.

Companies vying for a People’s Choice Award must receive at least 100 votes to be eligible for the award. The winners of The People’s Choice voting will be revealed during the IBA awards ceremony, Oct. 13. NJBIA members and others can support Stateside Affairs by voting here now through Sept. 15.

This is the first time Stateside Affairs has submitted nominations to the International Business Awards. Earlier this year, the firm won a Gold Stevie Award in Achievement in the Web Writing/Content category in the 2023 American Business Awards contest for its work overhauling the website of the Housing Authority of Elizabeth.

In the international competition, Stateside Affairs was recognized in a category honoring outstanding advertising, marketing and public relations work done by companies since 2021.

“Stateside is doing phenomenal work and also gaining recognition for that as their growth shows,” the judges said. “Stateside communicates a very focused agency positioning and clearly delivers based on the accolades that they have received.”

Stateside Affairs President and CEO Cristina Pinzon said she was grateful for the award, which is a testament to the vision of her dedicated staff and their ability to transform ideas into products that have meaning and generate a return on investment for clients.

“We value our clients and the work we produce for each of them,” Pinzon said.

Stevie Awards president Maggie Miller said this year’s winners are the most impressive group yet.

“The winners have demonstrated that their organizations have set and achieved lofty goals,” Miller said. We congratulate them on their recognized achievements and look forward to celebrating them on stage in Rome on 13 October.”
