Statewide Affairs, a woman- and minority-owned government affairs and public relations firm, has notched several professional industry awards already in the first quarter of 2024.

The Manasquan-based firm also capped Women’s History Month by announcing the promotions of several key female employees in recognition of the high-quality services they are providing to the business community.

  •  LisaMarie Gaeta: Director of Marketing and Operations
  •  Casey Abline: Junior Director of Public Relations
  •  Manuela Gaviria-Roldán: Associate Account Executive

Founder & President Cristina Pinzon has been setting herself and the firm apart in statewide publications as well. Recently, ROI-NJ recognized Pinzon on both its 2024 ROI Influencers Power List for Government & Public Affairs as well as its 2024 Power List for Women in Business

In December, Insider NJ also recognized Pinzon on the 2023 Insider 100 Millennials once again. Pinzon was recognized for her continued creative and unique marketing strategies, particularly in the Latino Community. She is always challenging her team to learn, grow, and use their voices to advocate for vulnerable populations.

“As a woman and minority-owned business owner, I want to be an example for young professionals who are beginning their careers in communications and government affairs,” Pinzon said.

“The latest statewide disparity study has proven how unfair minority groups and women have been marginalized when it comes to procuring business with the State of New Jersey,” Pinzon said. “We need to work collaboratively to become champions and leave a better foundation for the next generation of women looking to establish their own career paths in their respective business industries.”

Stateside Affairs Director of Marketing and Operations LisaMarie Gaeta has been named to Consulting Magazine’s 2024 Rising Stars of the Profession awards for Excellence in Leadership. These international awards recognize 40 individuals aged 36 and under who are “shaking up the industry in impactful ways and redefining the consulting profession.”

“It’s an honor to be recognized in this elite group of professionals selected by Consulting Magazine. Being named a Rising Star is a testament to my resilience in the consulting profession and further demonstrates that my successes have had a meaningful impact,” Gaeta said.
