The Small Business Administration’s Office of Advocacy regularly publishes user-friendly small business statistics broken down by individual congressional districts. Recently, the agency released an update for 2020.
“Within, readers can find the congressional district’s total number of small employers and their industry breakout, plus the number of workers employed and payroll expended by small businesses,” the Office of Advocacy states. “Additionally, the profiles provide a map showing the total number and distribution of self-employed workers across the district.”
The profiles are based on data from the U.S. Census Bureau, but the data were collected before the COVID-19 pandemic.
