On this past weekend’s episode of Minding Your Business, AT&T New Jersey Interim President Joseph Divis discussed the innovation and investments behind AT&T’s network enhancements amid surging demands.
“In Washington and in Trenton, there’s been a lot of talk about infrastructure,” Divis told host Bob Considine. “Well, we’ve been investing in infrastructure for basically as long as we’re been operating as an entity in the state of New Jersey – which is about 140 years.
“Infrastructure is at the heart of our network – and how we deliver for customers no matter what they want to do with their device.”
Divis said in more recent years, AT&T has invested $1.2 billion in its networks – which includes wireless investment, new cell sites, new small cells, the fiber to connect them and the spectrum used to deliver data and voice connectivity.
Divis also discussed the success of AT&T’s FirstNet mission to provide nationwide wireless broadband network dedicated to public safety, and key investments it has made for the community.
