On this past weekend’s “Minding Your Business” on News 12+, young entrepreneur Dylan Zajac talked to host Bob Considine about his successful and impactful startup Computers 4 People, a Hoboken-based non-profit that is bridging the digital divide by repurposing e-waste.
Zajac noted that while the COVID-era lockdown widened the digital divide, the need to get computers into the hands of the needy was always there.
“We saw the need before COVID started,” he said. “Back in 2019 there was still a massive need for computers, but obviously right when COVID hit there was this increased demand where everyone needed a computer to go to school, to go to work, and the digital divide became known around the world.”
