Passaic County, N.J. – 4CS of Passaic County, Inc. will host its biennial early childhood care and education professional development conference on June 7, 2019, at the Passaic County Community College Public Safety Academy at 8:00 a.m.
4CS has hosted a professional development conference focusing on early childhood care and education for the community since 1993. This event provides all who interact with children (families, educators, health care providers, religious staff/volunteers, and local business leaders), with information on topics such as children’s social-emotional, physical, and intellectual growth and development. This event provides a forum for community-based organizations to participate as vendors and distribute information and resources to attendees.
In the words of registered, home-based childcare provider Luz Osorio, who is also a past conference attendee, “4CS trainings helped to deepen my understanding of the impact of high-quality childcare in benefiting children, both for the short- and long-term.”
4CS of Passaic County, Inc. will have an amazing keynote speaker in Erin Ramsey, of Living Inspired, LLC. Ms. Ramsey serves as an inspiration for our community of educators, families, and individuals whose work impacts the lives of children. Erin has worked in the early childhood nonprofit sector for over 25 years. She began her career as a family childcare provider, served as executive director of a childcare resource and referral agency for 12 years, and then as a director of early childhood for the third largest urban school district in Indiana. Among her many accomplishments, she is the author of Be Amazing: Tools for Living Inspired, the Be Amazing Workbook, Inspired Work: Showing Up & Shining Bright, and the Inspired Work Workbook.
