S-2041 (Rice, Smith, Spencer, Egan, Wimberly, Schaer, Pintor Marin)
The law authorizes the issuance of $90 million in additional Economic Redevelopment & Growth (ERG) tax credits, raising the overall value of tax credits made available under the program from $628 million to $718 million. The $90 million in additional tax credits are earmarked for two residential projects within New Brunswick and Newark.
