EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT!

Team Eagle Foundation and NJMEP’s Manufacturing CARES will be hosting their 8th annual charity Jersey Guys Golf Outing, Crazy 8s on July 21 at Rick Ridge Golf Course (formerly the Minebrook Golf Club) in Hackettstown.

All proceeds from the event will go toward supporting scholarships and education grants that will benefit groups such as the NJMEP Summer Jobs Program, FIRST Robotics, County College of Morris, veterans’ groups, Boy and Girl Scouts STEM, and Junior Achievement. Since the event was founded in 2010, it has supported over 800 individuals with scholarships and grants.

“People, especially young adults, need a helping hand. The contributions to the [Team Eagle] foundation go directly to supporting these students as they develop critical life skills and enter the working world,” NJMEP CEO Emeritus John W. Kennedy said.

The event will also include a Million Dollar Shoot-Out, $25,000 Hole in One prize, a ‘Pot o’ Gold’ raffle and a 50/50, as well as on-course music and lunch.

“It’s an affordable golf outing which allows so many organizations to take part,” said Mike Womack, senior marketing and communications manager at NJMEP. “The best part is, every single dollar raised goes directly to student scholarships and food banks — it’s hard not to get excited about the event.”

Tickets are $150 per golfer for golf and grill or $50 per person for just the grill. For those unable to attend, online donations are also accepted.
