Affordable Employee Training Exclusively for NJBIA Members LEARN MORE

NJBIA Deputy Chief Government Affairs Officer Ray Cantor will join an upcoming ESI webinar on the expectations and implications of New Jersey’s new Environmental Justice Law, the landmark legislation that requires the state to deny operating permits in certain situations if the site is projected to have an undue impact on a local “overburdened community.”

The panel discussion, which takes place at 9 a.m. on May 16, is expected to focus on new Department of Environmental Protection regulations that will  implement the law, the impact on overburdened and at-risk communities, and the consquences for projects both in progress and in the planning stages.  The DEP regulations are expected to published on April 17.

Cantor will be joined by ESI Air Practice Lead Chris Whitehead, Girl+Environment Founder Diamond Spratling, and Offit Kurman Environmental Law Chair Matthew Carmel.
