The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has opened the portal for businesses with 100 or more employees to submit pay data to accompany the race and gender information they reported earlier this year.

The second component of the EEO-1 reports for both 2017 and 2018 can now be submitted electronically to the agency. The deadline is Sept. 30. Go here for more information.

These reports have been in limbo for the past two years. Originally a requirement under the Obama administration, the salary and wage portion of the reports were put on hold by President Donald Trump’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB). In March, a U.S. District Court ordered reinstatement of component 2, saying the OMB did not justify its decision.
