Feedback is hard. It’s hard to give, and it’s hard to take. And if it’s avoided, the workplace suffers. This doesn’t have to be the case.
Elissa Zylbershlag M.Ed., is the founder and owner of Work Wise Labs, a company that offers individuals and organizations a way to build positive work cultures and connect employees through teambuilding and leadership development throughout her extensive workshops.
In order to give and receive feedback authentically, employees first need to feel they genuinely belong. This interactive program will highlight the importance of creating a workplace where everyone feels included and will provide concrete ideas on how to create this type of environment. The program will also introduce a five-step model for effectively giving feedback and provide a strategy to enhance self-awareness when receiving feedback.

Elissa Zylbershlag, M.Ed.
Founder and Owner, Work Wise Labs
Elissa Zylbershlag M.Ed., is the founder and owner of Work Wise Labs, a company that offers individuals and organizations a way to build positive work cultures and connect employees through teambuilding and leadership development. For over 20 years, Elissa has been an educator and facilitator in the anti-bias education field. She has worked for many organizations including the Anti-Defamation League, the New Jersey State Bar Foundation and is currently the Director of the Education and Training Unit at the NJ Division on Civil Rights.
Over the years, Elissa has been sought out as a diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) specialist and to build departments from the ground up. In all her roles, she has created successful programming and cohesive teams. But not without trial and error. It is through these errors that Elissa has learned her most valuable lessons and now shares them with her clients.
