Policy Committee Meeting May 3 9:00 am - 11:00 am Free Raymond Cantor Email Registration

Please join us on Friday, May 3 at 9:00 a.m. for our Virtual NJBIA Energy and Environment Policy Committee Meeting being held online via Zoom video conferencing.

Joining us will be Donna Rendeiro, Executive Director of the State Planning Commission to discuss the update to the State Plan, what it means for development in New Jersey, and how it may impact warehouse development. I asked her to tell us “where can you build in New Jersey”?. Additionally, we will hear from Mark McDonough, President of the New Jersey American Water Company. Mark will be speaking on the recent adoption by the US Environmental Protection Agency on drinking water standards for PFAS and what it means for New Jersey. Our final speaker will be Mary Ellen Peppard, Vice President of New Jersey Food Council, who will speak on packaging and plastic ban issues.

Of course, we will be discussing recent developments on the PACT land use rules, our anti-EV mandate campaign, the Green Amendment, and many other topics that are keeping you up at night.

NJBIA will also be providing a legislative and regulatory update during the meeting. If you have any matters you would like to have covered at this meeting, please email Ray Cantor at rcantor@njbia.org. I look forward to seeing everyone there.
