Former PSEG Chairman and CEO Ralph Izzo, former Senate President Steve Sweeney and Senator and Chairman of the Senate Environment and Energy Committee Bob Smith will be honored at NJBIA’s 3rd Annual Energy Policy Conference on Oct. 10.

The full-day, hybrid event and cocktail reception, which will be held at the Pines Manor in Edison comes at a pivotal time for New Jersey businesses and residents, with the Murphy administration’s efforts to decarbonize the state and its economy put into high gear amid concerns of costs and feasibility.

“This event will feature a really complete array of energy and economic experts that will help bring clarity and context to some very timely and important questions,” NJBIA Deputy Chief of Government Affairs Ray Cantor said.

“This event will provide ample opportunity to discuss the current state of climate science, the risks of acting and of not acting, as well as the upgrades to our energy grid and other potential energy solutions to help New Jersey reduce emissions.

“At the same time, we are thrilled to honor three longtime leaders in the energy and environment sectors who have truly made a difference for our state and continue to put New Jersey on the best forward as it relates to energy and the environment.”
