Tonight at 7 p.m., Townsquare Media’s “New Jersey 101.5” (WKXW-FM) is presenting a live Town Hall broadcast about New Jersey’s plan to transition away from fossil fuels, including a ban on the sale of new gasoline-powered cars by 2035.
Anyone interested in “Flipping the Switch: Are You Ready” can go to the Listen Live button on www.nj1015.com, or watch the broadcast on NJ101.5’s Facebook page here.
New Jersey 101.5’s Eric Scott will lead a discussion with energy experts about the Murphy administration’s Energy Master Plan, the move from fossil fuels to wind and solar energy, and the electric vehicle mandate, so listeners understand how the changes will affect them. The panel discussion will also explore if New Jersey has the infrastructure to handle the increased electrical demand.
The expert panel includes Sen. Vin Gopal (D-11); NJBIA Deputy Chief Government Affairs Officer Ray Cantor; Environment New Jersey State Director Doug O’Malley; ChargeEVC CEO Pam Frank; and Jim Appleton, president of the New Jersey Coalition of Automotive Retailers (NJCAR).
