The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection has posted a new DataMiner report which enables the user to receive a list of all Underground Storage Tank (UST) facilities with expired UST registrations.

A UST facility which is not properly registered is not in compliance with the Underground Storage Tank rules, N.J.A.C. 7:14B, and is, therefore, not eligible to receive deliveries [see N.J.A.C. 7:14B-5.9(b)].

The UST registrations are sorted by ‘Date Status Changed’ to allow the user to see the most recent changes. This report enables the user to select by county and allows for selection of one or more counties at a time. A list can be printed in PDF or Excel format.

This report will assist fuel suppliers, as they will be able to review the data and determine whether a delivery can be made to a UST facility. Fuel suppliers can be found in violation of the Underground Storage Tank rules if they deliver product to a UST that is not properly registered. This report will also allow licensed site remediation professionals (LSRPs) to confirm the registration status for their clients.

A facility listed in this report will not be removed until a valid registration is issued. It is expected that if a UST facility cannot receive fuel, this report will assist in bringing the facility back into compliance.
