The nonpartisan, nonprofit National Haitian American Elected Officials Network (NHAEON) will hold its 2023 Leadership Retreat on Jan. 27-29 in Weehawken as part of its ongoing efforts to connect and engage people on issues affecting the Haitian American community in the United States.
Hundreds of elected officials, business leaders and community partners will convene to debate important legislative, diplomatic, economic, and human rights topics. Haitian American policymakers from 18 states, including New Jersey, will be joined by expert leaders and world-renowned speakers in the fields of housing, economic development, social justice, and education.
Businesses and organizations are invited to be part of the event, whose theme “Standing Together” emphasizes the need to explore ways to strengthen the relationship between the United States and Haiti, identify opportunities for growth within the Haitian community, and partner with allied organizations.
Various sponsorship levels are available, including event signage, recognition in the program book, placement of your organization’s logo on the NHAEON website, inclusion in NHAEON social media and press releases, speaking opportunities and complimentary tickets to the welcome reception and leadership dinner gala.
