Governor Murphy previously issued Executive Order No. 23 which calls upon state government agencies to make environmental justice a key consideration in decision making that affects residents’ environment, communities, homes, and health. As part of this effort, the Department of Environmental Protection issued a proposed guidance document to guide all agency actions.
