NJBIA Vice President of Government Affairs Alexis Bailey will appear on WJLP’s/On NJ’s “NJ Politics with Laura Jones” this weekend to discuss the association’s opposition to a bill that will result in burdensome requirements, and possibly lawsuits, for temporary staffing agencies and the third-party companies that utilize them.
The show will air on WJLP-TV at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday and 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Bill A-1474 is slated for a vote with the Senate on Monday.
Gov. Phil Murphy had conditionally vetoed the bill after it reached his desk. Despite narrow vote decisions, Murphy’s CV did not address NJBIA’s concerns about unworkable salary and benefits mandates in the bill.
