The Metuchen Golf & Country Club (MGCC) in Edison is hosting an Open House Career Fair to showcase opportunities for growth in the fields of club management, sales, golf, culinary arts, and event planning in the club hospitality industry.
MGCC General Manager & COO Joseph Kuntar said he is excited to welcome candidates to the fair, which will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13, and again on Thursday, Aug. 18 from 5:30 p.m. to 7: 30 p.m.
“The hospitality and private club industries continue to grow, and we are looking for quality individuals who can continue to offer our membership a premier experience daily,” Kuntar said. “Our people, both members and staff, are MGCC’s number one commodity. This fosters a terrific working environment for our staff to really be able to work in a family atmosphere.”
Kuntar said there are terrific opportunities at the club for those with experience in the food and beverage industry, including sous chef, line cooks, bartenders, servers, bussers, and food beverage Runners. Employees enjoy flexible hours, great pay, and excellent benefits, he said.
In a recent Online Survey from Golf Styles NJ Magazine, more than 60,000 votes were cast in the Reader’s Choice Best of the Best Survey regarding golf in New Jersey. Metuchen Golf and Country Club made the Top 10 list in the Private Golf Category for both Favorite Course and Best Family Club categories.
