2024 Annual Public Policy Forum, December 4, 2024 REGISTER

NJBIA has embarked on a statewide, seven-industry study to gather insight from New Jersey businesses on the changing dynamics, opportunities and threats in their industries and the impact on necessary employment skills. In addition, the study will determine key industry trends over time (such as employment, wages, and establishments by county). We invite you to participate in this important study by registering to take part in a phone survey conducted at your convenience. Click here to register.

NJBIA works with stakeholders from the business community, academia, and government to ensure a robust, high-quality workforce pipeline. The skills needed for successful 21st century careers are changing as technology, data analytics, robotics, and automation transform industries. NJBIA’s priority is to identify how industries and the jobs they provide are advancing into the future so that we can ensure the continued quality of New Jersey’s workforce.

NJBIA will use this research to work collaboratively with academia to ensure the skills needed for the jobs of tomorrow are embedded within programs of the state’s postsecondary institutions today. The data will also enable us to work with government policymakers to ensure that the proper aid for programs and legislation are in place to help New Jersey businesses grow and prosper within the Garden State.
