The state Board of Public Utilities on Friday will host its first Business Breakfast Summit, a quarterly forum for businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies to learn about programs, incentives and grants that can cut utility costs and increase energy efficiency.
The summit will be held March 21, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Bergen County Community College, 1280 Wall St. W, Lyndhurst. Go here to register to attend this free event.
“I’m excited to announce the launch of our quarterly Business Breakfast Summit series,” said Christine Guhl-Sadovy, NJBPU president. “By building strong partnerships, we can empower businesses and organizations to take full advantage of available programs and resources to help reduce costs and support New Jersey’s clean energy transition.”
Speakers on Friday include Guhl-Sadovy and Hackensack Meridian Health Director of Sustainability Kyle Tafuri. Attendees can choose one of three breakout sessions:
- Session 1: Energy Efficiency Programs for Large Businesses
- Session 2: Energy Efficiency Programs for Small Businesess
- Session 3: Energy Efficiency Programs for Nonprofits, Local Government, and Institutional Organizations.
- The event also includes a hot breakfast networking hour and information tables from local business organizations and utilities.
