In celebration of National Small Business Week, which begins May 1, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority and its government partners will offer a review of available resources for small business owners and entrepreneurs in New Jersey.
These one-hour online “Show Me the Resources!” sessions for small businesses will cover the programs offered through NJEDA Small Business Services, the NJ Business Action Center, the NJ Division of Taxation, the NJ Department of the Treasury, NJ Small Business Development Centers, and NJ Small Business Administration.
The sessions will provide useful information on these topics:
- NJEDA small business grants and loans
- How to register a business in New Jersey
- How to certify a business as women-, minority-, or veteran-owned
- How to access free available technical assistance and professional mentorship programs
Northern New Jersey business owners and entrepreneurs are invited to join the session at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 2. Central and South Jersey business owners and entrepreneurs are invited to the session at 5 p.m., Thursday, May 4.
A special “Show Me the Resources” for Spanish speaking business owners will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 1.
