On this past weekend’s episode of Minding Your Business, Rosanne DeTorres and Erin DeGeorge, founding partners of DeTorres & DeGeorge Family Law, discuss their firm’s journey as it celebrates its 10th anniversary of helping families move forward.
According to DeTorres, the challenge in settling divorce cases is getting the opposing parties to recognize that “everybody loses something.”
“The best resolution where everybody sort of leaves the process equally unhappy,” DeTorres told host Bob Considine. “There’s no easy way out of a divorce. The best (result) is that you’ve made some compromises, that they’ve made some compromises and you’re willing to live with the outcome – without having a trial.”
DeTorres and DeGeorge also opined on the fascinating way how the pandemic has changed family law cases.
