When your entire staff, or even just a few team members, are working remotely from home because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it can be challenging to manage employees and their workflow.

“You’ve got to make sure you’re being transparent,” Sailer said. “We are seeing lots of business close and that’s on a lot of employees’ minds. You don’t want your best of the best looking for another job because someone started a rumor that you’re going to be laying people off. You’ve got to make sure you’re being transparent and saying we’re moving forward and here are our goals.”
